Brief Overview 

mHealth is a global initiative by the mobile industry to promote mobile apps as tools to better manage health issues, like diabetes

the mHealth Grand Toour is a supported charity bike event from Brussels to Barcelone, 13 days of riding for 100 riders; with the aim to raise monies for Diabetes charities and increase awareness of the mHealth initiative at the same time. The event will showcase various technologies and facilitate better industry colloboration by encourage company teams from various industries involved in the mHealth initiative.

The initial brief was to create a website with appropriate branding for a global event that provoke people's imagination into wanting to take up the challenge as well as being informative about the background issues. It also had to create a professional image so as to attract a high level of sponsorship that would make the event viable.

Why Drupal Was Chosen 
Drupal was chosen as it provides a flexible CMS that can support that different types of content, has flexible template structure that would allow our designers to be unrestricted in their creative thinking, and we would able to easily extended to provide additional (unknown as yet) functionality in the different phases of event launch promotion, registration, preparation and running of the bike challenge event.

The outcome so far is the client is very happy. It has supported their promotional aims and has helped generated a level of interested in terms of sponsorship and riders take part that makes the event viable.
